Markiplier is an American YouTuber, actor, podcast host, director, writer and a producer. His original name is Mark Edward Fischabch who was born on June 28, 1989. He belonged to Honolulu, Hawaii and started his career in Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently he resides in Los Angeles, California. Along with his YouTube career at peak, he also is the co-founder of a clothing brand Cloak in partnership with a fellow Youtuber named Jacksepticeye. Markiplier’s YouTube channel has got around 30 million subscribers to date and almost 16 million video views. He has earned a name in Let’s play games commentary videos that primarily include horror survival and action video games. His comic commentary on videos has ranked him amongst the top 100 subscribed channels on YouTube.

Mark Fischabch took a start with YouTube on March 6, 2012 by creating a channel. He kept the user name of his channel “Markiplier” on which he uploaded his first video on April 4, of the same year. The name “Markiplier” is basically a combination of his first name Mark. The word multiplier because his idea was to upload sketch based comic videos playing each character himself.
His maiden YouTube series was the playthrough of the video game “Amnesia: The Dark Descent” after which a long list comes. YouTube also banned his AdSense account after which in May 2012, he launched a new channel with the name “MarkiplierGAME”
His playthrough video of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” is credited to receive 80 million views and took it to the heights of popularity.
Along with the actress Janet Varney, Markplier co-hosted SouthWest Gaming Awards in 2015. He himself had been nominated for various awards and has won some. In 2015, he performed in the movie “Smosh”. In 2019, he himself wrote, directed and acted in a Youtube movie, “A Hiest with Markiplier.” The audio drama “Edge of sleep” was also co-produced by him in which, he also appeared himself.
